Dr. John DiMaggio

Dr. John DiMaggio is a general dentist committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care grounded in education and advanced technology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from NYU College of Dentistry in 2017, followed by a General Practice Residency at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in 2018. Since then, he has provided comprehensive dental care in Brooklyn, the Hudson Valley, and Westchester, with a focus on prevention, function, and long-term oral health.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. DiMaggio holds dual undergraduate degrees in Molecular Biology and Anthropology from the University of Illinois, as well as a Master’s in Human Skeletal Biology from New York University. A lifelong learner, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in areas including root canal therapy, implantology, clear aligner therapy, biomimetic dentistry, veneers, surgical extractions and bone grafting.

A strong advocate for innovation in dentistry, Dr. DiMaggio has advanced training in digital workflows and is experienced in same-day CEREC restorations, CAD/CAM design, and minimally invasive treatment planning. His evidence-based approach ensures patients receive care that is precise, durable, and personalized.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New York State Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Dr. DiMaggio lives in Dobbs Ferry with his wife, An, and the two are excited to grow their family in Westchester. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys running, hiking, and board games with friends. Known for his calm, friendly demeanor, Dr. DiMaggio takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel informed, comfortable and cared for.
